Nourished is a macro-friendly e-book containing several different chicken, beef, and pork recipes that all sit very close to the same macronutrient breakdown.
One of my main issues with recipes availabel online is that the recipe itself needs to be tweaked pretty significantly in order for the recipe to fit in someone's macros.
Not everyone is comfortable being able to look at a recipe and know what to change within that recipe to make it fit their personal macronutrient breakdown.
So, one of two things happens:
1. That person doesn't feel comfortable making that recipe and ends up feeling "stuck" within foods they know and are comfortable with from a macro level.
2. That person makes the recipe, but feels guilty about it because it's not within their macros.
Neither of these are the point or the goal with macronutrients or foods in general. Food is meant to be a fun and enjoyable experience and we've started to lose our way with that. So, my intention with this e-book is to show different recipes and the macronutrients for those recipes, so that you can see exactly what you are consuming within the recipe itself.
All the recipes included have at least 30g protein. I placed carbohydrates lower, more in the range of 20g-25g to be under the protein levels and then fat amounts are mainly between 10g-15g.
